something worth sharing

Wednesday, March 4, 2009

I have not read the Holy Bible from cover to cover. There were taught passages that I've even forgotten. I sometimes fail participating Holy Masses. And I am guilty of the fact that I get bored on reading articles concerning religion. Having said it all, I remain a believer of my faith.
Allow me to share some of the wonderful truths of my belief.
I am considered an adopted daughter of God. Mary is my Mother and Jesus Christ is my Brother. That makes me special.
My Brother died on the cross to save me. That makes me more special.
Christ lives in my heart always. That makes me most special.
Whenever we celebrate the Holy Eucharist, Christ becomes the Bread and Wine that we share together. It’s so magical!
I pray the Rosary every now and then. Mary really brings me closer to my Father.
When I am in doubt, I ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten me. It works! Try it! The Son died on the cross to redeem us. The Father created everything in harmony and in goodness! And my amazement really can’t be stopped. Ask me if I have three Gods? I will answer, no. Confused? Don’t be. I am referring to the Holy Trinity – God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. Allow me to cite an example from a good person. I can also be three in one. How? As simple as saying, my mother calls me Danielle her daughter. My friends call me Daine as friend. My siblings call me Ate Dani as their sister. Hence, I am the daughter, I am the friend and I am the sister. To be more specific, Danielle Salvador is no other than Danielle, Daine and Ate Dani. I am welcoming questions in case you are still perplexed.
Others say, they are obedient on every letter written in the Bible. They live as the Bible states. I bet you’d want to know my point on this. Well, I love eating dinuguan. I have a small altar at home. I visit the parlor shop once in a while. I wear pants. Bottom line is, I enjoy a lot of things! Because, I read between lines and I am guided to contextually read the Bible. And a lot of traditions and rituals carried over by time were practiced and accepted even before Jesus Christ was born and such were not found on the Bible. There are things that our Church leaders have shared that we continuously observed. All these are sourced not only from the Bible but from so many things planned by God. Confused again? I have one good question for you, have you ever read the word "Bible" in the book named Holy Bible?
Let me pause for while. I’ve shared too much, you might be too engrossed with my blog. Thank you for the time spent and kindly be reminded, believe so you may understand. Cheers!
