Woven straps held the planks of wood
The raft sailed with the strong arms
Of the captain – proud, determined, passionate
He sailed in the vastness of the sea
Neither a compass nor a navigator
Read the path of destiny
He battled with the storms
He survived…yet unhappy.
He wanted to express the emptiness in his heart
But he never did.
Because he’s arrogant
For him, he owned all creations
That he’s the slave of his own desires.
He never admitted the bare truth
That he made it and still in solitude
That he lives for nothing.
He continued the voyage.
From shore to shore
He was acquainted by a few
He ventured into different trades
He was never a merchant
But he was willing to barter everything he had
To diminish the agonizing reality
That his heart was not beating
And his soul was hurting.
